Welcome to hodgdonreloadingsupplies. By accessing or using our website, purchasing products, or utilizing our technical reloading resources, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. Regulatory Compliance & Age Verification
Age Requirement: By placing an order for smokeless powders, primers, or regulated reloading components, you explicitly affirm that you are of legal age in your province or territory of residence (18+ in AB, MB, ON, QC, SK; 19+ in BC, NB, NL, NS, NT, NU, PE, YT).
Mandatory Adult Signature: In accordance with federal guidelines, all deliveries containing Class 1 Explosives require an adult signature with government-issued photo ID upon delivery.
Federal Storage Limits: Customers are responsible for ensuring that their total residential component inventory complies with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) Explosives Regulations (maximum 20 kg smokeless powder and 10,000 primers per private dwelling) and local municipal bylaws.
2. Product Information & Technical Disclaimer
High-Precision Use: Reloading small arms ammunition involves inherent physical risks. Users must possess the necessary technical knowledge, follow published load data, and use calibrated reloading equipment.
Manufacturer Data Adherence: All load references, burn rate charts, and component pairings provided on this site are for educational and informational purposes only. Always consult official, published Hodgdon reloading data.
Limitation of Liability: hodgdonreloadingsupplies disclaims all liability for property damage, personal injury, or firearm damage resulting from improper handloading techniques, exceeding published maximum powder charges, using incorrect component combinations, or neglecting bench safety standards.
3. Order Acceptance, Pricing & Availability
Inventory Accuracy: We strive to ensure live inventory counts are accurate. In the event of an inventory error, stock discrepancy, or pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel or adjust affected orders prior to dispatch.
Single-Lot Guarantee: Orders requiring multiple units of powder or primers are pulled from identical factory manufacturing lots whenever stock allows. If single-lot quantities are depleted, our team will contact you prior to shipment.
Order Modifications: Once a shipping label has been generated and UN-certified packaging assigned for Dangerous Goods transit, orders cannot be modified, canceled, or rerouted.
4. Dangerous Goods Shipping & Delivery Terms
TDG Compliance: All smokeless propellants and primers ship exclusively via certified ground courier networks in accordance with Transport Canada’s Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations.
Physical Address Requirement: Deliveries can only be made to physical street addresses in Canada. P.O. Boxes, Rural Route boxes without street numbers, and General Delivery addresses are strictly prohibited.
Flat-Rate Weight Tiers: Flat-rate Dangerous Goods shipping applies up to a maximum weight of 20 kg (44 lbs) per container. Orders exceeding this limit will automatically incur additional certified package fees at checkout.
5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Final Sale Policy: Due to legal safety regulations, chain-of-custody requirements, and federal hazardous materials laws, all sales of smokeless powders and primers are strictly FINAL SALE. No returns or exchanges will be accepted once products leave our vault.
Refused Deliveries: If a shipment is refused, unclaimed at a courier depot, or returned due to failure to provide required age verification ID, any applicable refund will be minus round-trip Dangerous Goods freight fees and a 15% restocking fee.
Damaged Shipments: Transit damages or discrepancies must be reported within 48 hours of delivery along with photographs of the outer packaging, hazard labels, and contents.
6. Intellectual Property & Site Usage
All content on this website including product descriptions, technical guides, CSS configurations, graphics, logos, and layout structures is the intellectual property of hodgdonreloadingsupplies and protected under Canadian copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial distribution is strictly prohibited.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province where our primary vault operations are located and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
